Greenpeace activists blocked Esso tankers from leaving the Port Jerome refinery after the Rainbow Warrior sailed up the Seine. On shore more activists blocked road tanker access gates into the facility and painted "STOP" on the Esso storage tanks. The activity is part of a campaing to highlight the role Esso is playing in trying to prevent action on climate change.
