Greenpeace and Global 2000 protest against the nuclear tests on Moruroa that have been started the night before. Activists of both organizations enter the guarded area of the French embassy in Vienna. Activist climbers hang a banner that reads “Stop Now” from the balcony and half-mast the French flag. Several activists block the entrances of the embassy building by chaining themselves to them.
