Chernobyl Anniversary Action in Rome
Greenpeace activists plant two thousand crosses at the ancient "Circus Maximus" stadium in Rome, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The activists also display a huge banner reading in Italian "26th April 1986 Chernobyl, how many more disasters?". Greenpeace ask the Italian government to stop investing in nuclear energy and support renewable energy.
