Greenpeace, GLOBAL 2000 and ECA Watch protest at the general assembly of the plant engineering company Andritz AG in Graz against the forest destruction caused by the company’s projects. At the same time inside at the assembly critical share holders demand information about the ecological costs of the company’s profit maximization. With three-meters-high tree costumes and over dimensional images from the Amazon, which is threatened by the currently planned Andritz project Belo Monte, Greenpeace points out the dimension of the damage. The banner reads “Andritz AG- Kein Profit auf Kosten der Umwelt!”, in english: „Andritz AG- no profit on the cost of the environment!“.
