Detox Action at Mammut Headquarters in Switzerland
More than 15 Greenpeace activists from six countries have rigged up a portaledge (bivouac) on the facade of the Mammut company’s headquarters in Seon (Switzerland). The activists are inviting the company to rejoin them at the negotiating table they brought along to search for a solution and sign a detox commitment to eliminate PFCs from the entire production chain. On their perch in midair, the activists are baking pies and brewing coffee and say they are ready to spend the night if necessary. More activities, such as a PFC info show are happening in front of the main entrance. Greenpeace invites Mammut employees to discuss the campaign and Greenpeace's demands over a plate of soup.
