Construction continues in a luxury gated community despite turmoil in property values caused by a months-long massive gas leak at the nearby Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) Aliso Canyon natural gas storage facility. The leak has forced thousands of residents of the Porter Ranch neighbourhood in Los Angeles away from their homes and forced California Gov. Jerry Brown to declare a state of emergency.
