Greenpeace France covered in orange paint several wagons in the train station of Vierzon to highlight the presence of nuclear waste in populated areas.
This train on its way from La Hague to Tricastin contains reprocessed uranium, toxic and radioactive nuclear waste. Tons of nuclear waste travel every day in France without the population being informed of the risks.
