Valentine's Day Cards Sent to Federal Services and Agencies in Russia
On Valentine's Day, Greenpeace volunteers in several cities ask people to sign and send a Valentine to the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) - the agency that should, but does not, take measures to reduce air pollution. There is a portrait of the head of the department, Anna Popova, on the Valentine, and comic phrases like: "NOx PM2,5; O3 love somewhere in the air,” and on the reverse side "I❤️ (crossed out) polluted air” where people can write something they actually love instead of polluted air.
