Greenpeace Slovakia installed the burning planet in front of the Bratislava castle three days before the national elections in Slovakia. They are calling on wider public to go and vote for climate. Climate has become one of the key topics in the pre-election campaign, which demonstrates that the topic is gaining traction in public as well as in the higher politics. In the weeks preceding the elections Greenpeace Slovakia ranked the political parties based on their climate policies and challenged them to become more ambitious resulting in several of the leading parties signing up to ambitious climate targets.
