Greenpeace activists projected the message “This smokescale is spreading poison” onto the coal-fired power plant in Afşin, one of the places where coal damaged the most.
According to the Greenpeace report on Afşin, two coal-fired power plant caused 17.000 premature deaths; this number might rise up to 32.000 if 6 more power plants are built as planned.
