John Hocevar, Director of Oceans for Greenpeace USA, submarine pilot and marine biologist working in the office onboard Arctic Sunrise in Punta Arenas, Chile, en route to the Antarctic for scientific research into the biodiversity of the Antarctic ocean.
The scientists on board will gather data to strengthen the case for the creation of an ocean sanctuary in the Weddell Sea.
