Peaceful Climate Protest at Hamburg's Harbour
Greenpeace activists demonstrate in front of the Elbphilharmonica in Hamburg's harbour district for a fast and consistent implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement by the G20 states.
The Greenpeace ship "Beluga II" protests peacefully with a four-meter-high replica of the Statue of Liberty and a banner demanding "Time for a Change".
"The other G20 leaders cannot wait for Donald Trump to grow up." says Greenpeace climate expert Karsten Smid. "The G19 have to show that they decided to leave coal, oil and gas in the ground, as agreed in Paris." Trump announced to leave the Paris Climate Agreement in early June this year.
