Action Against Exploratory Drilling in the North Sea
Greenpeace activists protest at a drilling platform of the British company Hansa Hydrocarbons. The company plans to do exploratory drilling north of Schiermonnikoog island in the Netherlands. The activists are calling upon the company and the Dutch minister of Economic Affairs, Eric Wiebes, to halt the gas drilling. Four climbers scale one of the legs of the platform, with the intention of obstructing the drilling.
