A flotilla of local fishing boats, together with Greenpeace, are preparing to form a symbolic line, as part of community solidarity activities, in the coastal waters off Donsol town, Sorsogon. A banner reads "Save our seas".
The flotilla demonstrates the communities’ demand for the strict enforcement of a ban on commercial fishing vessels operating within the 15 kilometer zone reserved for municipal fishermen.
