Greenpeace activists with banner reading (in French) "End Oil Addiction" block a docking facility at Kinder Morgan's pipeline terminal in Metro Vancouver, where tankers are loaded with tar sands oil. The activists are protesting against the Canadian government's plan to build new pipelines to ship tar sand bitumen from Alberta to overseas markets. If the expansion of Kinder Morgan's pipeline goes ahead, 700% more tankers will go through the Port of Vancouver.
