Recent plantation development in a peatland area of the Duta Palma group's PT. Palma Satu concession and a bordering area which local witnesses allege was cleared by the palm oil company, although it is outside the company's official concession boundaries in Indragiri Hulu, Riau. Both sites overlap with areas mapped on official charts as covered by the Indonesia government's moratorium on the issuance of new permits in primary forests and peatland.
