In Greenpeace's first action against an Israeli polluter activists from the MV Greenpeace prevented the Israeli vessel ARIBEL from sailing into the int. waters of the Mediterranean Sea to dump toxic sludge by jumping into the waters and forming a human barrier. GP demanded that the ARIBEL return the toxic sludge, containing a cocktail of toxics including arsenic, cadmium, copper & zinc, to sender, factories along the Kishon River. Haifa, Israel.
