PFC contamination is affecting communities living near manufacturing plants around the world.
Used in many consumer goods, including outdoor gear, some PFCs have been associated with  serious health problems including cancer.
Greenpeace launches a report identifying four pollution hotspots around the globe (Italy, The Netherlands, USA and China) where chemical companies producing polyflourinated chemicals (PFCs) have contaminated the environment and are raising concerns on the consequences among residents living in surrounding areas.
