The two bird sanctuary islands Scharhorn and Nigehörn are located in the Hamburg Wadden Sea north of Cuxhaven in the National Park Wadden Sea. Greenpeace, the association „Jordsand“ and 40 volunteers clean up the islands. They collect round about two tons of plastic waste which they load on to Greenpeace ship `Beluga´ to ship it to Hamburg

Greenpeace, der Verein "Jordsand" befreien mit 40 Freiwilligen die beiden im Hamburgischen Wattenmeer liegenden Vogelschutzinseln Scharhörn und Nigehörn von Plastikmüll. Die Umweltschützer finden rund zwei Tonnen Plastikmüll auf den nördlich von Cuxhaven und zum Nationalpark Wattenmeer gehörenden Inseln, den sie auf dem Greenpeace-Schiff `Beluga´ laden und nach Hamburg transportieren.
