Greenpeace activists are on location in Cacouna, Qc to protest plans by TransCanada to build a new tanker port on the St. Lawrence Seaway to export tar sands oil from the proposed Energy East pipeline. Greenpeace plans to bear witness to upcoming seismic work which could harm the region’s already threatened beluga population.
