On 17th October at ca.11.30 am an explosion occurred at BASF chemical plant in Ludwigshafen during work at a pipeline. Fire and smoke were seen over the whole area at the river Rhein. In the north harbour of BASF flamable liquids and nitrous gases are transshipped.
